Mohamed Salah scored a brace – including the winning goal – in Liverpool’s nervy 4-3 victory over Salzburg in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Egyptian’s first goal capped off a great first half for the Reds, who led 3-0 at the interval (including the opening strike from Sadio Mane) but were pegged back to 3-3 by the Austrian side (featuring Zambians Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu, as well as Cameroon’s Jerome Onguene and Ghanaian Majeed Ashimeru).
However, Salah struck again in the 69th minute to get Liverpool up and running in Group E of the continental competition.
