Zamalek president blows top, transfer-lists goalkeeper

Combustible Zamalek president Mortada Mansour has struck again after placing goalkeeper Mahmoud Genesh on the transfer list after the gloveman questioned why his wages had not been paid.

Genesh ruptured his Achilles heel in pre-season and has not featured for the White Knights this season.

He took to Instagram to complain that he had not received a salary for months, querying whether his injury had something to do with it, which brought a furious response from Mansour.

The president eventually placed the player on the transfer list after a heated exchange on social media.

The 32-year-old had been with Zamalek since 2011, but has been in and out of the side in the last eight years.

There is every chance that Mansour will change his mind though, he is known for his non-sensical outbursts that are later retracted.
