Algeria will be without winger Adam Ounas for their international friendlies with the Democratic Republic of Congo and Colombia.
The 22-year-old had had to undergo knee surgery that will keep him out of action for between one and two months, his coach at French Ligue 1 side Nice, Patrick Vieira, confirmed.
The French-born youngster has been a revelation since linking up with the Algerian national team a d helped them to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations title in Egypt this year.
he has also started the season well with Nice, where he is on loan from Italian Serie A side Napoli.
He last featured for Nice in their 3-1 loss to Monaco on September 25.
