New Egypt head coach Hossam El Badry has called up 23 players to his first camp after replacing Javier Aguirre.
The Pharaohs are set to face Botswana in an international friendly on 14 October 2019 in Cairo.
The squad has only four abroad based players with El Badry preferring to give more chances to home-based players.
Talaea El Gaish goalkeeper Mohamed Bassam, Pyramids defender Ragab Bakkar, Al Ahly’s midfielder Hamdy Fathy and Zamalek duo Abdullah Gomaa and Omar El Said are the new faces in the squad.
Egypt will use the game against Botswana as preparation for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The Pharaohs are in Group G alongside Kenya, Togo and Comoros.
