Kaizer Chiefs will face Cape Town City in the opening round of the 2019-20 Telkom Knockout Cup competition.

The Amakhosi, who were the most notable unseeded team in the draw after finishing outside the top eight in the league last season, will travel to the Mother City for a mouthwatering clash.

Baroka FC are the reigning TKO champions, having defeated Orlando Pirates on penalties last year. Bakgaga will start their title defence away to MTN8 champions Supersport United while Pirates host newly promoted Stellenbosch FC.

Mamelodi Sundowns will play AmaZulu in the other notable clash of the Round of 16 with the Brazilians eager to end their domestic cup competition drought, having dominated in the league over the last few seasons.

The final will take place on the 14th of December.
