Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat has expressed his support for teammate Lazarous Kambole.
Kambole, 25, arrived in Naturena ahead of the 2019-20 season as the Amakhosi’s marquee signing following an impressive run of form for ZESCO United.
The Zambia intentional, though, has yet to adapt to life in South Africa’s top division with his seven Absa Premiership appearances yet to yield a goal contribution.
Billiat has duly come out in support of his teammate and is confident that he will find his feet in due course.
“We all struggle when we come here, it is expected,” said Billiat.
“But we are working hard to try and help him (Kambole). He is a good player, that is why he is here. We believe in him and we are going to support him as much as we can.
“Every opportunity he gets I think he is close to breaking the ice and we have a good feeling about it,” he concluded.
Chiefs currently occupy top spot in the Absa Premiership, having recorded three successive wins in succession before the international break.
