Ivory Coast international Gervinho has signed a contract extension at Serie A club Parma.
The 32-year-old joined Parma in August last year following a two-year spell in China.
The former Arsenal, Lille and AS Roma winger made an immediate impact at the club, scoring against Juventus in his first league start.
In total, Gervinho has scored 14 goals in 38 appearances for the club, assisting a further five across all competitions.
Parma announced that the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations winners’ new contract will keep him at the club until 2022.
Gervinho missed out on inclusion for the 2019 Afcon tournament in Egypt, with his last appearances for the Elephants coming back in November 2017.
In total, he has scored 22 goals in 84 appearances for his country.
