There will be only two foreign-based players in Rwanda’s 27-man squad for Monday’s friendly international against Tanzania in Kigali on Monday.

Coach Vincent Mashami will have Medie Kagere from Tanzania champions Simba SC and Jacques Tuyisenge, who recently joined Angolan side Petro Atletico, in the squad

The reasons for leaving out the rest of the ‘foreign legion’ is that the game will serve as a warm-up for Rwanda when they play Ethiopia at the same venue on October 19 for a ticket to the 2020 African Nations Championships.

Rwanda are already 1-0 up from the away leg in Ethiopia last month.
