Former Liverpool centre-back and club legend Jamie Carragher has identified Sadio Mane as his favourite player at the club.
The Senegal international has continued his good run of form for the Reds with eight goals in 11 appearances across all competitions this season.
Moreover, Carragher is of the opinion that the 27-year-old is among the best players in the world at the moment.
“Even after the first couple of games, I said Mane, probably along with Raheem Sterling, was possibly the best left winger in the world,” Carragher told Liverpool.com.
“I absolutely love him, he’s my favourite player at the club. He’s brilliant, he’s always got a smile on his face, always there, always gets knocked about, gets goals, setting others up.”
In total, Mane has scored 67 goals in 134 appearances for the Reds since his move from Southampton three years ago.
