On-loan Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny could be in line for a permanent move to AC Milan in January.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A club have reigned their interest in the Egypt international and believe they can land him for a transfer fee of around €15 million at the start of the new year.
Elneny is currently on-loan at Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas where he has featured just three times this season.
The 27-year-old was sent off on his league debut for the club, resulting in a lengthy suspension.
Elneny joined Arsenal from FC Basel in 2016, but managed just 89 appearances for the North London club before being shipped out to Besiktas where he hopes to regain his form.
The midfielder has been capped 76 times by his country and was part of the team that narrowly beat Botswana last weekend.
