Morocco international Amine Harit has been named the German Bundesliga Player of the Month for September.
The Schalke 04 attacking midfielder racked up an incredible four goals and two assists in just three league appearances last month, helping the Royal Blues to three impressive wins in the process.
Harit saw off competition from Bayern Munich trio Philippe Coutinho, Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski, as well as Stefan Lainer and Christian Günter to win the accolade.
The 22-year-old playmaker joined the club from Nantes in 2017 and having seemingly put his off the field troubles on the back-burner, Harit has started to showcase his incredible talent.
Harit made his debut for Morocco two years ago and has gone onto making seven appearances for the Atlas Lions, having committed his allegiance to the North African country after representing France at youth level.
He failed to make the Moroccan squad for this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, but returned to the international fold for ensuing matches over the last two months.
