Slimani shines as Keita helps Liverpool hold Man United

Islam Slimani, Denis Bouanga and Ihlas Bebou found the back of the net for their European clubs on Sunday.

Algerian hitman Slimani scored AS Monaco’s second goal as they defeated Rennes 3-2 in a French Ligue 1 encounter.

Senegalese winger Keita Balde Diao was introduced in the second half and he grabbed an assist for Monaco at the Stade Louis II.

At the Matmut Atlantique, Gabonese forward Bouanga was the hero for St Etienne as his goal helped the team beat 1-0 Bordeaux in a Ligue 1 clash.

Meanwhile, Togolese midfielder Bebou was on the scoresheet for his side Hoffenheim at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar Arena.

The 25-year-old sealed Hoffenheim’s 2-0 victory over Schalke in a German Bundesliga match.

While Guinea vice-captain Naby Keita helped Liverpool FC secure a draw against Manchester United in an English Premier League match.

The playmaker was introduced in the second half and he was involved in the build-up as Liverpool scored a late equalising goal at Old Trafford Stadium.

Lastly, Ivorian winger Gervinho led Parma to an impressive victory over Genoa in an Italian Serie A encounter.

Gervinho grabbed an assist as Parma thumped a hapless Genoa side 5-1 at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
