Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will clash in the quarterfinals of the Telkom Knockout with both eager to end their long-standing trophy droughts.
It is the headline fixture in the draw that was conducted on Tuesday night and will be an eagerly-anticipated clash in a rivalry that has been dominated by Pirates in recent years.
Chiefs have not lifted a trophy since they won the league at the end of the 2014/15 season, while Pirates last had success in the 2014 Nedbank Cup.
Recently-crowned MTN8 champions SuperSport United have been drawn at home to Lamontville Golden Arrows in another of the quarterfinal matches.
Mamelodi Sundowns must travel to Chippa United and Maritzburg United will host Highlands Park to round out the draw.
The exact dates, times and venues for the matches will be announced by the Premier Soccer League in due course.
