African players will be looking to play key roles for their team in the 2019 UEFA Europa League group stage on Thursday.

Gabon captain Pierre-Emeric Aubameyang is expected to lead Arsenal’s attack when they take on Portuguese side Guimaraes in a Group F clash.

Aubameyang has netted once in the group stage and he will be keen to find the back of the net for the English giants.

Guimaraes’ Portuguese rivals FC Porto, who have Malian marksman Moussa Marega on their books, will host Scottish giants Rangers in a Group G match.

Marega will be eager to score his first goal in this season’s group stage and help Porto overcome Rangers.

Meanwhile, Nigerian marksman Umar Sadiq and his FK Partizan teammates will face English giants Manchester United in a Group L encounter.

Sadiq has already found the back twice in the group stage for the Serbian giants and he will be looking to add to his tally.

His countryman, Philip Azango will be hoping to help Belgian side Gent overcome German outfit Wolfsburg in a Group I game.

Meanwhile, Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny’s Besiktas are scheduled to take on Portuguese outfit Braga in a Group K clash.

Elneny will be keen to play an important role in helping the Turkish giants secure their maiden win in the group stage.
