Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi played the whole game for Leicester City on a record breaking night at St. Mary’s Stadium on Friday evening.

The Foxes climbed up to second place on the Premier League table with a thumping 9-0 win over 10-man Southampton. Ryan Bertrand received his marching orders after just 12 minutes.

Both Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy scored hat-tricks for the visitors as they recorded the biggest-ever Premier League away win. It is also the joint-biggest-ever Premier League win.

Elsewhere on the night, Cameroon international Karl Toko Ekambi scored . a brace for Villarreal in a 4-1 Spanish LaLiga victory over Alaves.

The win moved the Yellow Submarine up to third place in the league, two points off top spot.

Ekambi has now scored five goals in the league this season, three in his last two games.
