Sadio Mane has voiced his intent on remaining at Anfield for the remainder of his professional career.
The Senegal international has made a huge impact since joining the Reds from Southampton three years ago, playing a key role in helping the club to Uefa Champions League glory last season.
Mane, 27, has scored 68 goals in 137 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions and hopes to continue adding to that tally for years to come.
“I am very happy to be part of this great club and I enjoy it,” Mane told TV 2. “Hopefully I stay here forever.”
“I’ve been to some clubs around the world, but Liverpool is unique. It’s like a family. The mood is always incredible.
Furthermore, Mane commented on his relationship with strike partners Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
“It’s easy to work with them. Personally, I feel lucky to get to play with them. They are really good players and make everything easier.
“Mo is fun sometimes. He is a cool and nice guy. Bobby is very shy. He is the most shy football player I have ever met, but very nice,” he added.
