Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could go in search of club success elsewhere, if Arsenal fail to qualify for the Uefa Champions League this season.
According to the Telegraph, the Gabon international would consider leaving the North London side if they fail to qualify for the biggest club tournament in world football once more.
The 30-year-old has scored 49 goals in 77 appearances for the Gunners since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in January of last year.
He has netted eight of those goals in 12 appearances this season, but could be tempted to take his talents elsewhere if club’s problems persist.
Following a solid start to the season, Arsenal have dwindled in recent weeks with a loss to Sheffield United followed by a 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace.
A penalty shoot-out defeat to a young Liverpool side in the Carabao Cup this week compounded Unai Emery’s problems and with club captain Granit Xhaka having been booed off the pitch by his own fans last weekend, it all makes for a rather bitter atmosphere at the Emirates.
This could drive Aubameyang away as he looks to make the best of the final few years of his career.
