Zanaco, Kotoko & Enyimba in pole position in CAF Confed Cup

The 2019/20 CAF Confederation Cup play-round second-leg matches will take centre stage on Sunday.

The action will be headlined by an encounter between South African side TS Galaxy and Nigerian giants Enyimba at the Mbombela Stadium.

Enyimba secured a 2-0 win in the first-leg encounter which was played in the Nigerian city of Aba last weekend.

While Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will be looking record another win over Ivorian side San Pedro when the two teams clash in Ivory Coast.

Kotoko are leading 1-0 on aggregate thanks to Naby Keita’s solitary goal from the first-leg encounter.

Meanwhile, DR Congo’s Motema Pemba will be banking on the home ground advantage when they host Kenyan champions Gor Mahia.

The first-leg encounter ended in a 1-1 stalemate in Kenya with William Luezi scoring Pemba’s crucial away goal.

At the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, Zanaco will be targeting another victory over Cano Sport of Equatorial Guinea.

The Zambian side clinched a 3-1 victory in the first-leg encounter which was played in Malabo.
