Golden Arrows will chase a win over Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns when the teams meet at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Sunday 10 November 2019, kick-off at 15h30.
Arrows registered their fifth draw of the league season when they held SuperSport United 0-0 at Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday, November 5. Abafana Bes’thende have claimed 11 points from five home matches in the 2019/20 season.
Sundowns have gone two league matches without a win after they were held 0-0 at Baroka FC on Wednesday, November 6. The Brazilians still boast a fine away record, with eight points from four matches on the road this campaign.
In head-to-head stats, Arrows and Sundowns have met in 36 league matches since 2000/01. The Brazilians have claimed 19 wins compared to nine for Abafana Bes’thende, while eight matches have been drawn. The Durban side has won seven of their 18 home matches against their Tshwane counterparts, suffering nine defeats in the process.
