Watford face an anxious wait to see the extend of the ankle injury sustained by Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr while on national team duty.
Sarr came off on a stretcher during the 2-0 win over Congo last week and it is unknown how long he will be out for.
“Ismaila Sarr was diagnosed with a sprained right ankle and is scheduled to undergo further tests to determine the extent of the injury,” Senegal’s Football Federation said.
“This will also determine how long he is likely to be out of action for.”
Sarr, 21, joined Watford at the start of this season after helping Rennes to the Coupe de France in the last campaign, where they beat Paris St Germain in the final.
He was a runner-up with Senegal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Egypt.
