Tunisia international and Zamalek midfielder Ferjani Sassi’s injury is not serious.
This is according to Tunisian national team doctor Suhail Al-ٍShemly after the player sustained an injury during Tunisia’s game against Equatorial Guinea.
Sassi started for the Carthage Eagles as they recorded their second win in their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
The 27-year-old was substituted in the 60th minute after picking up an injury during the match.
“Sassi will not exceed 10 days before he recovers and returns to the pitch.”
“He won’t face problems playing Zamalek’s upcoming game in the league,” Al-Shemly told Time Sports channel.
“Zamalek are set to resume the Egyptian Premier League on the 25th of November by facing ENPPI in the sixth round.
Sassi is a key player for the White Knights having scored one goal and provided an assist in three Egyptian Premier League games.
