Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly emerged as a top transfer target for Barcelona.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants are interested in signing the Gabon international at the end of the season with sporting director Eric Abidal having identified several transfer targets.
Aubameyang took over the captain’s armband at Arsenal from Grant Xhaka earlier this month, with the Swiss midfielder stripped of the captaincy following a clash with the club’s fans.
Aubameyang joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, quickly establishing himself as a fan favourite.
The 30-year-old has scored 50 goals in 79 appearances for the Gunners, including nine in 14 appearances this season.
Aubameyang was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid while he was still plying his trade in Germany, but signed for Arsenal at the start of last year.
