SuperSport United will look to continue their fine form in the Absa Premiership when they welcome Stellenbosch to the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday 30 November 2019, kick-off at 20h15.

SuperSport secured a second straight league win by defeating Maritzburg United 2-0 away on November 27, courtesy of goals from Kuda Mahachi and Sipho Mbule. Matsatsantsa have claimed nine points from five home matches this term.

Stellenbosch suffered their heaviest defeat of the season (and extended their winless run to three matches) when they were crushed 4-0 at home by log leaders Kaizer Chiefs on November 27. The Cape side has claimed five points from seven games on the road this season.

In head-to-head terms, this will be the first top-flight meeting of SuperSport United and Stellenbosch. However, when the latter was still known as Vasco Da Gama, the teams met in the 2010/11 Absa Premiership: SuperSport completed a league ‘double’ by winning 1-0 in Cape Town and 3-1 in Tshwane.

SuperSport’s line-up from their 2-0 win over Maritzburg on November 27: Williams, Bhasera, Nhlapo, Daniels, Fleurs, Furman, Mbule (Khumalo 89′), Webber, Modiba (Mokoena 66′), Mahachi, Gabuza.

Stellenbosch’s line-up from their 4-0 loss to Chiefs on November 27: De Jong, Robertson, Van Heerden, De Goede, Johannes, Bergman (Mobbie 66′), Zungu, Maroole (Franco Mares 46′), Rayners, Isaacs, Van Rooyen (Skelem 46′).
