Desabre: Pyramids aim to win CAF Confed Cup

Pyramids head coach Sebastien Desabre spoke about the importance of their victory over Nigerian giants Enugu Rangers.

The Egyptian side started their CAF Confederation Cup Group A campaign with a 3-1 away win over Rangers on Sunday.

The French tactician made it known that his side wants to challenge for the Confederation Cup title.

“It’s an important victory and it should lift the spirits of the players,” Desabre said on King Fut.

“The sending off along with the changes we made in the second half was the reason we successfully turned around the game and scored three goals.

“I hope we continue playing like this because we have aspirations of winning the title.” he added.

Pyramids’ next Group A match will be against Mauritanian side FC Nouadhibou on Sunday, December 8.
