The axe continues to fall on coaches in the Egyptian Premier League after Ismaily announced they had parted ways with Serbian tactician Miodrag Jesic after just four months in charge.

Jesic was in charge for nine games, with a record of five and four defeats, but was particularly poor in the domestic Egyptian league, where the side currently sit 12th with six points from four games.

He has, however, qualified the club for the quarterfinals of the lucrative Arab Club Championship, the draw for which will be held on Wednesday.

The club decided to make their move after Ismaily lost 3-0 to Ittihad at the weekend.

The club have announced that stalwarts Adham El-Salhadar and Mohamed Mohsen Abou-Greisha and will take temporary charge until a new permanent appointment is made.

Ismaily are next in action on Wednesday when they host Tanta in the Egyptian league.
