Raja get precious away victory in DR Congo

Moroccan side Raja Casablanca completed a precious away victory when they secured a 1-0 win in the DR Congo against AS Vita Club in their CAF Champions League Group D clash on Friday.

A goal from Soufiane Rahimi three minutes into the second half proved decisive and the visitors were able to hold on for the points.

It means Vita Club have. Lost their opening two matches in the pool and already face an uphill battle to qualify for the quarterfinals.

Raja lost their opener to champions Esperance but the victory on the road puts their campaign back on track.

Vita Club are next in action away at Esperance on December 27, while Raja return home to host JS Kabylie.
