Etoile du Sahel claimed a superb 3-0 away win over FC Platinum in their CAF Champions League Group B clash at the Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo on Saturday.

The Tunisian side made it two wins from two to head the pool and have yet to concede in another composed performance, this time away from home.

Karim Aribi scored a goal in each half to put Etoile in the ascendancy, before Hazem Haj Hassen added a late third in injury-time.

For FC Platinum it is a second successive defeat and the home loss will be particularly galling for the Zimbabweans, who now face an uphill battle to qualify for the quarterfinals.

FC Platinum are next away at Cairo giants Al Ahly on December 27, while Etoile host Al Hilal on the same day.

Etoile head the pool with six points, while Al Ahly and Al Hilal have three each.
