At the Alexandria Stadium, Pyramids’ local rivals Al Masry remained second on the Group A standings after defeating Nigerian outfit Enugu Rangers 4-2 in an enthralling match.

Rangers’ local rivals, Enyimba recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over Ivorian side FC San Pedro in a Group D encounter at the Enyimba International Stadium.

While Moroccan side Hassania Agadir maintained their lead at the top of the Group D standings after securing an impressive 2-0 win over Algerian outfit Paradou AC at the Mustapha Tchaker Stadium.

At the Stade du 26 Mars, Boubacar Talatou was the hero for Malian giants Djoliba AC as they overcame a stubborn South African side Bidvest Wits 1-0 in a Group C clash.

Guinean champions AC Horoya moved to the top of the Group C standings following a resounding 3-0 win over Libyan outfit Al Nasr at the Stade du 28 Septembre.

Meanwhile, Moroccan club RS Berkane were frustrated by a resilient Zambian side Zanaco as the two teams played to a 1-1 draw in a Group B game at the National Heroes Stadium.

Lastly, Vinny Kombe’s brace inspired DR Congolese giants DC Motema Pembe to a 2-0 victory over ESAE of Benin in the other Group B match at the Stade Charles de Gaulle.

Match-day three of Africa’s secondary club competition will take place on the 29th of December 2019.
