Liverpool FC captain Jordan Henderson has opened up about what it’s like to play with Sadio Mane.
The Senegalese winger has established himself as one of the best footballers in the world this year while playing for English giants Liverpool.
Mane finished fifth for The Best FIFA Men’s Player award and fourth for the Ballon d’Or this year.
The 27-year-old attacker has been lauded by his teammate Henderson, who is the England midfielder and vice-captain.
“Amazing, of course, not only Sadio but every other player,” Henderson said.
“We’ve got so much talent in the squad and Sadio has been outstanding for a long period of time now.
“He just needs to continue in that form. He is a fantastic person off the pitch works really hard and dedicates his life to football,” he added.
“It’s great to see him doing as well as he can. We just want to see him continue in that form and keep doing what he’s been doing for a long period of time now.”
Mane has scored 13 goals in 21 matches across all competitions for Liverpool this season.
