Legendary England goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes that Aston Villa can rely on right-back Ahmed Elmohamady.
The Egypt international is currently struggling for game time at the English Premier League (EPL) outfit.
Elmohamady, 32, has been backed by Robinson, who turned out for English clubs Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Blackburn Rovers and Burnley during his playing days.
“I mean he is very experienced. He is 32 now and he has played in England for a long time now, he spent a long time at Hull City after a spell Sunderland,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“And he knows English football and with the experience, he has you can rely on him.
“Also at the age of 32, he is still a very fit player with good defensive qualities who can get up and down the right-hand side.”
The experienced full-back has made eight appearances in the English Premier League this season.
Villa also have Egypt international Mahmoud Trezeguet on their books.
