Crystal Palace forward Wilfred Zaha is set for a new transfer saga this coming January after numerous reports in England have linked him with a move to Chelsea.
The Blues have had a transfer ban lifted for January, allowing them to enter the market again, and Ivory Coast star Zaha is said to be the number one target of manager Frank Lampard.
Zaha was chased by both Arsenal and Everton in the last window, but saw their advances rejected by Palace, much to the disappointment of Zaha, who at one point stopped training to clear his head.
He got over that disappointment though and has had a fine first half of the season, helping Palace to a surprise top half place in the table.
Arsenal instead moved for Zaha’s Ivorian teammate Nicolas Pepe, who has struggled with the rigours of the Premier League since his arrival from Lille.
