South Africa midfielder Bongani Zungu faces a big test when his French Ligue 1 side Amiens travel to Paris St Germain on Saturday night, hopeful of a surprise result to lift them away from the relegation zone.
Zungu has struck some form in recent weeks after a stop-start season due to injury, and netted in Wednesday’s 3-2 victory over Rennes in the Coupe de la Ligue, top provide a boost in confidence.
But he will be supremely tested now against the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, a chance for him to show why he was regarded as one of the leading defensive midfielders in Portugal before his arrival at Amiens.
Bafana striker Lebo Mothiba should be back in Ligue 1 action for Strasbourg after he missed last weekend through injury. His side will host Saint-Etienne.
Mothiba was an unused substitute in the midweek cup win over Nantes.
Keagan Dolly will hope to feature for ailing Montpellier as they seek to snap a three-match losing streak when they host Brest on Saturday.
Meanwhile in Ligue 2, Lebogang Phiri played for Guingamp as they won 5-1 away at Châteauroux.
