Bidvest Wits are set to play host to Al Nasr in the 2019/20 CAF Confederation Cup Group C match on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.

The match is set to take place at the Dobsonville Stadium in one of the largest townships in South Africa, Soweto.

Wits suffered their first defeat in the group stage when they lost 1-0 to Malian side Djoliba AC away earlier this month.

The defeat left the Clever Boys on the third spot on the Group C standings – three points behind the leaders, Horoya AC with four matched left.

Inspirational captain and defender Thulani Hlatshwayo will be hoping to lead the Clever Boys to their maiden win in the group stage.

Meanwhile, Al Nasr also recorded their first defeat in the group stage when they lost 3-0 to Guinean giants Horoya away earlier this month.

The defeat left the Libyan side on the fourth spot on the Group C standings – a point behind second-placed Djoliba, who will be away to Horoya on Sunday.

One of Alfahama’s key players is striker Khalid Almaryami, who netted in the team’s 1-1 draw with Djoliba on match-day one of the group stage.

Mahmood Ismail from Sudan will officiate the match between Wits and Al Nasr.
