Zamalek will host ZESCO United in the CAF Champions League Group A match on Friday.

Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.

The match is set to be played at the Al Salam Stadium in the capital city of Egypt, Cairo.

Egyptian giants Zamalek and Zambian champions ZESCO played to a 1-1 stalemate in an encounter which was played in Ndola last month.

Zamalek are sitting on the second spot on the group standings and they will join DRC giants Mazembe at the top of the log if they defeat ZESCO.

They have registered one victory, one draw and one defeat in the group stage.

Mostafa Mohamed, who netted in Zamalek’s draw with ZESCO, is the dangerman for the North African giants.

Meanwhile, ZESCO are placed third spot on the group standings and they will move into the second spot if they defeat Zamalek.

However, they remain winless in the group stage having recorded two draws and one defeat.

Their key player is Quadri Aladeokun, who was on the score sheet in ZESCO’s draw with Zamalek.

Bamlak Tessema Weyesa, who hails from Ethiopia, will be in charge of the match between Zamalek and ZESCO.
