The 2019/20 South African Absa Premiership action continued on Saturday with three matches taking place.

Baroka FC returned to winning ways in the league when they defeated their Limpopo rivals Polokwane City 1-0 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The only goal of the match was scored by Ranga Chivaviro just two minutes into the match as he converted from the spot-kick after Bakgaga were awarded a penalty.

The win took Baroka to the 13th spot on the league standings, while Polokwane are placed 16th on the table.

Meanwhile, Stellenbosch FC recorded an impressive 4-1 victory over Highlands Park at the Makhulong Stadium.

Iqraam Rayners grabbed a brace, while Nyiko Mobbie and Alan Robertson also scored for Stellies, while Mokete Mogaila netted the Lions of the North’s consolation goal.

The win took Stellenbosch to the 11th spot on the league standings, while Highlands are placed seventh on the log.

Lastly, Chippa United were held to 0-0 draw by a resilient Maritzburg United side at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium.

The draw left Chippa and Maritzburg placed 10th, and sixth respectively on the league table.
