Bafana Bafana forward Lars Veldwijk has reportedly joined South Korean club Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC.
According to Rijnmond Nieuws the Netherlands-born striker has joined the K League champions on a two-year deal.
Veldwijk transfers to Korea from Dutch Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam for whom he scored four goals in 15 league games this season.
The 28-year-old played a key role in helping Sparta to promotion last season, scoring 24 times in 36 matches. Despite this, he has had to settle for a bench role in Rotterdam this season.
Veldwijk is said to have been in Spain with Sparta on a mid-season camp before returning to the Netherlands to complete his switch to Korea.
Jeonbuk have been crowned South Korea’s top division champions for the last three seasons.
