Achraf Hakimi will not be joining Bayern Munich.
That is according to German sports publication Kicker who report that the German champions stand little to no chance of signing the Morocco international at the end of the season.
Hakimi is set to return to Real Madrid at the conclusion of the 2019-20 campaign, having signed a two-year loan deal with Borussia Dortmund in 2018.
The 21-year-old has gone on to establish himself as an integral member of the Dortmund squad, flourishing in several positions.
His run of form has duly attracted interest from Bayern, who reportedly remain keen on signing the versatile fullback.
Hakimi has scored nine goals and assisted a further 13 in 54 games across all competitions for Dortmund, often featuring in midfield. He is equally adapt at playing both left and right-back.
Dortmund currently occupy fourth place in the Bundesliga, seven points behind leaders RB Leipzig.
