Morocco international Youssef En-Nesyri has joined Spanish LaLiga side Sevilla on a five-and-a-half-year deal.

The club officially announced En-Nesyri’s arrival on Thursday evening with the forward joining Los Palanganas from league rivals Leganes.

According to reports, Sevilla paid En-Nesyri’s buy-out clause, believed to be in the region of $20 million.

The forward had scored four goals in 18 league games for a struggling Leganes outfit who currently occupy 19th place on the log standings.

In contrast, Sevilla are battling at the other end of the league table and currently occupy fourth place, five points behind league leaders Barcelona.

En-Nesyri scored 15 goals in 53 games for Leganes, having joined the club from fellow Spanish outfit Malaga two years ago. The 22-year-old has scored six goals in 21 matches for the Atlas Lions.
