Egypt international Mohamed Salah says they will not look beyond the next match.

This comes after the Reds increased their lead of the English Premier League to 16 points by beating Manchester United 2-0 on Sunday evening.

Salah insisted that they are taking it each game as it comes as Liverpool look to clinch their maiden league title since 1990.

“The thought came to my mind that I would not score today but I came back mentally, I prepared myself, to keep calm,” Salah told Sky Sports.

“But even if I didn’t score today, it doesn’t matter – as long as the team keep winning, I’m fine with that.

“We just need to keep focused on each game. We don’t have to think now we’ve won the Premier League,” the winger continued.

“No, we need to take it game by game, that’s the only way we can win the Premier League.

“We struggled last season at the same time [of the campaign], so we have to keep calm and just focus on each game.”

The Reds’ next league match is against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium on Thursday.
