Nigerian striker Bolaji Sakin is looking forward to facing Enyimba in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals.
Sakin’s Guinean club, Horoya AC were pitted against the Nigeria Professional football league champions Enyimba FC in the quarter-final draw on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old marksman told brila.net that the two matches against Enyimba will allow him to reconnect with Nigerian football, his fans and an opportunity to come back home to play.
“It will not be a new thing to meet Enyimba even though we have never played them before but it will be very good to meet them,” Sakin said.
“I will be very happy to meet them because I even want to come home so that I will meet some of my fans and my friends. So it will be a very good game.”
Sakin started his career at Nigerian side Abia Warriors, before moving to another local side Rivers United in November 2017.
He was snapped by Guinean champions Horoya after impressing in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup while playing for Rivers.
