Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer has admitted that he is uncertain which player will replace Frank Gabadinho Mhango in attack for today’s Nedbank Cup clash.

The Buccaneers will host the Clever Boys at Orlando Stadium on Sunday afternoon in a last 32 clash which pits together two of the top teams in South Africa.

Pirates have been on a sensational run of form in recent weeks, but they will be without key goal-scorer Mhango for the match against his former team Wits.

The Malawian striker is suspended for the clash, having accumulated four yellow cards in other competitions to pick up a mandatory one-match ban.

“We know that Gabba (Mhango) is a big player for us at the moment but in the second line we have other players,” Zinnbauer told the media, as quoted by Goal.

“Now is the chance for those players who have been waiting for opportunities to take over from him.”

The German coach added, “We are working very hard during our training sessions with the strikers and I hope to have a good hand in terms of picking the player who will replace Gabba.”

Zinnbauer will likely choose between the trio of Tshegofatso Mabaso‚ Justin Shonga and Augustine Mulenga.
