The Nedbank Cup last-16 draw was conducted in Randburg on Monday evening.

With no seeding, there was a chance that several of the so called big clubs could come to blows at this early stage of the competition, but that would not be the case with Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits all avoiding one another.

The Clever Boys will come up against fellow Absa Premiership rivals Chippa United at Bidvest Stadium in a repeat of last season’s quarterfinal showdown. The Chilli Boys won that particular clash on penalties following a 4-4 draw.

Sundowns will face fourth tier Vaal University of Technology while Kaizer Chiefs travel to Tembisa for what is sure to be a tough test against Highlands Park.

Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United will face off in the other all-Absa Premiership clash.
