Borussia Dortmund’s Achraf Hakimi is uncertain of where he will be playing next season.
The Morocco international is set for a return to Real Madrid at the expiry of his two-year loan deal in June.
Hakimi has taken his game to a whole new level in Germany and hinted that he will be open to remaining in Dortmund, if he isn’t guaranteed regular game time at the Santiago Bernabéu.
“That’s what people say and the contract I have signed,” Achraf said when quizzed about his loan spell ending in June as per Goal.com.
“Everything can happen in June, but we’ll see what the summer holds.
“In my head is that I want to play and I want to continue growing. Here in Germany they are giving me the opportunity,” he concluded.
The 21-year-old has starred in several positions for Dortmund, excelling in both midfield and at both left and right-back. In total, he has directly contributed to 15 goals in 33 games across all competitions this season.
