Tunisia international Hamdi Nagguez has secured a move to Lithuanian champions FK Suduva.
The experienced defender has joined the club on a free transfer a few months after leaving Egyptian giants Zamalek.
Nagguez decided to terminate his deal with Zamalek two months ago as the club struggled to pay his wage.
“Lithuanian football champion Marijampolė Sūduva signed a contract in 2020 for the season with Tunisian right-wing Hamdi Nagguez.”
“The 27-year-old football player will wear 21 numbered T-shirts in Suduva,” a club statement read.
Nagguez enjoyed some success with Zamalek winning two Egypt Cups and CAF Confederation Cup.
“Returning from a training camp in Cyprus, Suduva is currently preparing for the 2020 season in Marijampolė.”
“The final check-in matches will be played at the Hikvision arena on February 22. 3pm with Neman of Grodno (Belarus).”
“One more week later – February 29th. – Sūduva will face Vilnius Žalgiris in the Super Cup in Vilnius Sportima,” another statement read.
