Former Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure is set to join Brazilian top division side Botafogo.
According to Globo Esporte the Rio de Janeiro club is close to agreeing terms with the former Barcelona and Manchester City midfielder.
Toure last played for Qingdao Huanghai who he helped gain promotion to the Chinese Super League after winning the second division title.
The 36-year-old is best known for his time at Barcelona and Manchester City where he enjoyed great success.
Toure played 118 times for the Spanish giants, most notable winning the 2009 UEFA Champions League title before moving onto City where he achieved cult status.
He scored an impressive 79 goals while assisting a further 50 in 316 appearances for the Sky Blues, playing an integral role in the eight titles won by the club during his time in England.
Toure was capped 97 times by Ivory Coast and was part of the team that won the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
Botafogo finished the 2019 Serie A season in 15th spot.
