Cameroon international Karl Toko Ekambi is keen to help Olympique Lyonnais secure a top-four finish in the French Ligue 1.
The 27-year-old striker joined the former French champions from Spanish La Liga outfit Villarreal on loan during the January transfer window.
Ekambi has netted twice in six Ligue 1 matches and he is happy with his start at OL, who are placed seventh on the standings.
“Everything is going very well on a personal level. I have had playing time. I’m not hard to live with,” Ekambi said.
“I try to be available to the club, to my teammates. There are big matches to play. A competitor is boosted by all matches, regardless of the opponent. ”
Lyon snapped a four-match winless run in the league by defeating Metz over the weekend.
“You can’t win every game. It’s a bad stretch. We will get back up and start a positive run of form,” he added.
“The team has given a lot since the start of the year. There was a bit of fatigue. The team has regenerated and we will restart very strong. ”
“We have no additional pressure. There are finals to play. We are aware that the situation is tough in the league,” he said.
“But we also know that OL are strong at the end of the season. We aren’t panicking. “
