Golden Arrows will go in search of a third straight win in the Absa Premiership when they host Highlands Park at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Saturday 29 February 2020, kick-off at 15h30.
Arrows secured a second straight win when they defeated Durban Derby rivals AmaZulu 2-1 away from home on February 15, courtesy of a brace from Knox Mutizwa. Abafana Bes’thende have claimed 20 points from 10 home matches thus far in the 2019/20 season.
Highlands have taken seven points from the last nine up for grabs on the PSL log, with their last outing a 2-2 draw away to Bidvest Wits on February 19 in which Mothobi Mvala and Peter Shalulile scored. The Lions of the North have claimed just eight points from 11 away matches this term in their PSL fixtures.
In head-to-head stats, Arrows and Highlands Park have met in five top-flight matches since 2016/17. Abafana Bes’thende have claimed three wins compared to two for the Lions of the North, with zero games drawn. The Durban side has won both of their two home matches in the rivalry.
When the teams met earlier this season, at Makhulong Stadium in December 2019, Highlands won 2-0 at home thanks to goals from Ryan Rae and Peter Shalulile.
