Zamalek will take on Esperance de Tunis in a CAF Champions League match on Friday.

Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.

The quarter-final first-leg match is set to be played at the Cairo International Stadium in the Egyptian city of Cairo.

The former Egyptian champions booked their place in the knockout phase after finishing second in Group A of this season’s CAF Champions League.

Zamalek, who have lifted five CAF Champions League titles, are enjoying a nine-match unbeaten run at home in the competition.

They will look to Moroccan striker Achraf Bencharki, who has hit the back of the net three times this season.

Meanwhile, Esperance, who are the defending champions, secured their spot in the knockout stages after finishing at the top of Group D.

The Tunisian champions saw their nine-match unbeaten run on the road in the competition come to an end when they lost to Algeria’s JS Kabylie in their last away game.

The four-time Champions League winners’ dangerman is Taha Yassine Khenissi, who is one of the most lethal strikers in Africa.

Moroccan match referee Redouane Jiyed will be in charge of the game between Zamalek and Esperance.
