Mohamed Nahiri scored a brace to help Wydad Casablanca to a 2-0 win over Etoile du Sahel in a 2019-20 CAF Champions League quarterfinal first-leg clash at Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca on Saturday evening.
The Lions of Africa fullback netted on either side of the break to help Juan Carlos Garrido start his reign as Wydad head coach with a win, against what was his former employers.
Victory completed a perfect record of four wins from four games for all four the home teams in the first-leg, with Zamalek, Raja Casablanca, Al Ahly and Wydad all claiming wins by a two-goal margin this weekend.
Nahiri opened the scoring after just 11 minutes in Casablanca before completing his double nine minutes after the restart.
The second-leg will take place at the Stade Olympique de Radès next Saturday, 7th of March.
