Morocco captain Romain Saiss is eyeing success with Wolverhampton Wanderers in two major competitions.
Wolves are fighting on two fronts, in the English Premier League and UEFA Europa League where they are set to face Greek giants Olympiacos Piraeus in the Round of 16.
The versatile player has been impressive in defence for Wolves, who are looking to secure a top-four finish in Premier League and progress to the Europa League quarter-finals.
“We spend more time together than I spend with my family. Of course, we are happy together, especially outside of the pitch, not only in training,” Saiss told the club’s official website.
“When you are good friends outside, it’s easier to fight for each other on the pitch.
“This is the mentality of this team and we have a small squad, so everybody’s involved in the team. I’m really happy and let’s continue in this way.”
The 29-year-old player, who was born in France, says they are approaching each game individually.
“We play every game to win, it doesn’t matter the opponent. It could be the best team in the world or another team, it’s the same for us,’ he added.
“We are focused on our job and try to win every game, so we are happy to perform well at the moment in the Premier League and Europa League, and we just have to keep going and working.”
